Definition:
The three-ring reducer is an advanced translational transmission mechanism, a new type of universal speed reduction (or increase) device that won the National Outstanding Patent Award in 1990. Compared with other types of transmission devices, it boasts a series of advantages such as compact size, lightweight, high load capacity, and low production costs. It has begun to be applied in various industrial sectors and has been designated as one of the key national projects for priority promotion and application. Its basic configuration consists of one low-speed shaft, two high-speed shafts, and three transmission ring plates. All shafts are arranged in parallel, with the identical two high-speed shafts driving the three transmission ring plates to perform planar motion with a 120-degree phase difference. The inner ring of the transmission ring plates is internally tangent to the outer ring of the low-speed shaft, forming a high gear ratio through gear-to-gear or pin-to-gear engagement. The shaft ends of each shaft can independently and simultaneously transmit power.
Category:
The three-ring transmission mechanism forms a self-contained system. Based on the basic single-stage transmission, it can be configured into various derived types by increasing the number of high-speed and low-speed shafts or altering their relative positions. The single-stage transmission can also be connected in series to form a multi-stage transmission.
Features:
With advantages such as high torque, smooth operation, large transmission ratio, and excellent overload performance, it can generally replace gear planetary reducers, cycloidal gear reducers, and multi-stage cylindrical gear reducers in applications.
Function:
1) Reduce speed while increasing output torque, with the torque output ratio calculated as motor output multiplied by the reduction ratio, but ensure it does not exceed the rated torque of the gearbox.
2) Deceleration also reduces the inertia of the load, with the decrease in inertia being proportional to the square of the deceleration ratio.
Application:
The three-ring gear reducer is widely used in various fields such as mining, metallurgy, petroleum, chemical industry, rubber, engineering machinery, lifting and transportation, as well as light industry. It features high torque, smooth operation, large transmission ratio, and excellent overload performance, making it a suitable replacement for gear planetary reducers, cycloidal gear reducers, and multi-stage cylindrical gear reducers.
